Jacqueline Lindsey is a Social Work Supervisor with the Baby Love Program, where she works with pregnant women to help them overcome barriers and stressors to achieve a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby. Jacqueline has a passion for helping women achieve their breastfeeding goals, with a particular focus on Black women, who frequently face bias and a lack of support around breastfeeding. Jacqueline recently received her certification as a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) in order to become more educated on breastfeeding and be able to increase her range of support. In her personal life, Jacqueline enjoys spending time with her husband Bryan and her two year old daughter, Kaia.

What do you love about Rochester?

One thing I love about Rochester is the number of organizations and individuals who are dedicated to improving maternal child health in our community.

What is one of your favorite parenting moments, as a parent or as a daughter?

Watching my daughter overcome and defy the odds she was given while becoming her own tiny human with a huge personality!
