Daystar’s Pediatric Day-Respite Center offers infants, toddlers, and preschoolers unmatched opportunities to learn, play, and discover the possibilities beyond the limits of their hospital bed and home in a community of children facing similar experiences.

Programs are available for children as young as six months old, who require ongoing nursing and assessment and who meet Daystar’s eligibility requirements.

As New York State’s only Pediatric Day-Respite Center, Daystar has been a trusted resource and partner to families since 1988. Daystar’s talented teams of caring and experienced pediatric nurses, teachers, therapists, and family advocates will partner with you to give your child and family a custom combination of supports and services that are right for you and your child.
