Strong Center for Developmental Disabilities (SCDD), a recognized Center of Excellence in Developmental Disabilities, is committed to advancing policy, practice and services for and with individuals with developmental disabilities, their families and communities.  SCDD is a part of Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD), a network of 68 interdisciplinary University Centers of Excellence.

SCDD believes people with intellectual and developmental disabilities have a right to live fulfilling and independent lives as active members of their communities.  Our programs are designed to support these individuals across the following core areas: education, employment, health, recreation and leisure.
