Meet the newest members of Healthy Baby Network’s Board of Directors!
We are honored to have these new directors on our board, championing healthy babies and families.
Maya Crane is a talented project manager, researcher, and visionary. She is an Equity Program Officer at the Rochester Area Community Foundation where she works to promote grant making goals for community change. Maya holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Russell Sage College and a Master’s in Strategic Leadership from Roberts Wesleyan College. She is also a graduate of the 2017 United Way African American Leadership Program and the 2019 Leadership Rochester class.
Jessica Lewis is the Communications Specialist at ROC the Future and President & CEO of LáLew Public Relations. LáLew Public Relations is a full service PR firm specializing in media relations, marketing, branding, web management, social media and community engagement. Jessica received her Bachelor’s degree from Buffalo State College in Social Studies Education grades 7-12 and a Master’s degree in Teaching and Curriculum from the Margaret Warner Graduate School of Education at the University of Rochester. Jessica holds membership in the Rochester Association of Black Journalists, the Democrat & Chronicle Young Professionals Advisory Council and the Theta Omega Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
Rachel Snyder is a culturally competent and innovative community leader with a passion for capacity building, social justice, and facilitation. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Wells College and a Master’s from the University of Rochester. Additionally, she earned her Graduate Certificate in Project Management from R.I.T. She has been a Board member with Lollypop Farm Professionals, Southeast Area Coalition, and Connect & Breathe.
Erick Stephens provides technical assistance and support to schools to strengthen and improve parent engagement efforts as the Parent Engagement Specialist for Healthi Kids. He also works directly with parents training them on advocacy and connecting them to opportunities to impact policy, systems, and environmental change in schools. Erick is currently completing his Bachelor of Science in Political Science at the University of Buffalo.
Tracy Webber is the Director of the Midwifery Division at University of Rochester Midwifery Group. She has worked as a Registered Nurse and Certified Nurse Midwife in various hospitals. Dr. Webber graduated from the Yale School of Nursing with a Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree in May 2019. She is very interested in women’s healthcare initiatives and examining healthcare inequities.
