NCADD-RA provides evidence-based substance abuse and problem gambling services to a diverse population through education, support, resources, advocacy and referral.

Staff work to positively influence the social norms which perpetuate the use and abuse of alcohol and other drugs and problem gambling.

NCADD-RA staff provide community education and awareness presentations on a variety of addiction-related topics tailored to requesting school or community groups to include Current Trends,  Impact of Addiction on Families, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), and many others. NCADD-RA also provides a wide array of training opportunities for professionals in the addiction, education and health and human services community. NCADD-RA also hosts a monthly FASD Parent Networking/Support Group. Additionally NCADD-RA has staff dedicated to community coalition work through our Finger Lakes Prevention Resource Center.  Also, through our new Finger Lakes Addiction Resource Center we are developing directories of addictions related services in the 9 county Finger Lakers Region.
