Healthy Baby Network is changing the future one baby at a time. We believe that every parent, pregnancy, and birth are important. That’s why we provide resources, care, and support for families through the following programs:
Resources, Care, and Support

Case Management
Caring about your baby’s health doesn’t end at birth. That’s why we offer case management, through our Baby Love program, to support parents throughout their pregnancy and beyond.
Case Management includes:
- Home visitation
- Comprehensive support services
- Care for up to two years after the birth of a child

Outreach
Our bilingual Spanish and English Outreach Workers help mothers find the best care in their communities. The success of these workers has been exponential. In 2017 alone, the Healthy Baby Network Outreach Team spoke with over 2,093 people, including 228 pregnant women. Our Outreach Team brings access to care directly to our most vulnerable community members.

Fatherhood Program
We believe that fathers and father figures play a key role in the health of our babies and community. That’s why we provide resources, care, advocacy, and support for fathers and father figures through our Fatherhood Program. The Fatherhood Program brings fathers and father figures together to build skills and to support each other in their critical roles as parents.

Health Education
We believe knowledge should be shared freely. We provide free training to families in our community, helping to empower people to be the best parents possible. In 2018, our Health Education program reached 394 women, girls, and community members.

Black Doula Collaborative
We believe that health equity is the standard of care. Doulas provide mental, physical, and spiritual support during and after pregnancy and have been proven to be an effective intervention to maternal mortality and morbidity. Black women in the United States are between 3 and 4 times more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes than white women. The Black Doula Collaborative will provide care, support, and advocacy during pregnancy, birthing, and postpartum to nurture Black women and their support teams in welcoming their babies and assisting in their transition home. The Collaborative is comprised of Black women, from many different professional backgrounds, who are working toward their doula certifications.

Oral Health
When one thinks of improving health during pregnancy, oral hygiene is probably not the first thing that comes to mind. But to have a truly healthy pregnancy, good oral health is vital. We support oral health for mothers and babies with our Oral Health Advisory Committee. Find oral health resources here!

Community Action Network (CAN)
Community Action Network drives positive community change for the health of parents and babies. Using the power of collaboration, the network draws in voices from both patients and community partners, helping us to have a unified and collective impact. Click here for more information.

PeerPlace Network Development
As a parent, you want to be sure that your doctors are fully informed. That’s why we developed the PeerPlace Network. This health information technology resource seamlessly connects patients with needed health and social support services, and also manages a patient’s health information.
